Clearing Land
I am no stranger to clearing trees. After three once in a century storms on our 10 acre parcel the last two years, I have become at home felling trees, clearing brush and cleaning up.
The ground has been exceptionally dry this spring. Rain turning to snow was in the forecast for May 1st. So, I made the final push for clearing the land for the timber frame's foundation. A total of six trees had to go in addition to taking down the tree house my three boys have outgrown.
We put a free sign on the tree house on the side of the road. It was gone within minutes. (In addition to all the cord wood, we cut.). The tree house now is serving a second life as a chicken coop. Luckily, the weather man was right.
Plenty of snow on the ground and brush piles to burn.
By the end of the day the snow was gone and the site is ready for bigger machinery and excavation.
